SSC Stenographer Vacancy 2024 Application Fee
Let us now talk about the application fee. It is Rs 100 for the General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, the application is free for SC and ST. Remember, you have to pay this fee online only.
SSC Stenographer Vacancy Age Limit
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age should be 18 years. The maximum age for Group C is 30 years and for Group D it is 27 years. The age will be calculated on 1 August 2024, and reserved categories will be relaxed in the age limit.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment Educational Qualification:
Now talking about educational qualifications, candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized board.

SSC Stenographer Vacancy 2024 Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of an online written exam followed by a stenography skill test, document verification, and a medical examination.
The CBT exam will have 50 questions for general intelligence and reasoning, 50 questions for general awareness, and 100 questions for English language comprehension. Each question will carry 1 mark and the negative mark will be -0.25 marks. You will get 2 hours to solve this paper.
Students who qualify for the written exam will be called for a stenography skill test. Here, a 10-minute dictation will be taken in English or Hindi. The speed should be 100 words per minute for stenographer grade C and 80 words per minute for grade D.
