HP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of three stages:
- Physical Tests (PST and PET)
- Written Examination
- Document Verification

The final merit list shall be made based on the marks of written examination, PST Height marks, and evaluation- NCC Certificate marks, based on the following parameters:

Physical Efficiency of Male Candidates (PET):
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) plays an important role in the HP Police Constable recruitment process. The PET requirements for both male and female candidates:
For Male Candidates:
- 1500 Meters Race: Must be completed within 5 minutes and 30 seconds. No additional attempts are allowed.
- High Jump: Minimum height of 1.35 meters. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
- 100 Meters Race: Must be completed within 14 seconds. No additional attempts are allowed.
- Long Jump: Minimum distance of 4 meters. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
For Female Candidates:
- 800 Meters Race: Must be completed within 3 minutes and 45 seconds. No additional attempts are allowed.
- High Jump: Minimum height of 1.10 meters. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
- 100 Meters Race: Must be completed within 17 seconds. No additional attempts are allowed.
- Long Jump: Minimum distance of 3 meters. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
