Educational Qualifications
- Draughtsman: 10+2 with science + Certificate in Draughtsman ship/Architecture or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Like one year of practical experience in National Trade Certificate in Draughtsman.
- Supervisor (Administration):
- Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate or
- equivalent from the Navy, Air Force, or Army.
- Turner & Machinist: ITI/NCTVT Certificate or Defense Trade Certificate + experience.
- Drivers & Operators: Matriculation with a valid driving license or equivalent qualification as per Regulations of Defense Service.
Age Limit:
The age limit for BRO GREF Recruitment 2024 should be between 18 and 27 years, however, this may vary depending on the role. Relaxation is given for specific groups according to central government guidelines. For example,
- Government Employees: Relaxation for up to 40 years.
- SC/ST Candidates in Government Service: Relaxation up to 45 years.

BRO GREF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The recruitment process for BRO GREF posts consists of the following stages:
- Call Letter Issuance: Candidates shortlisted at a ratio of 1:10 per vacancy will receive call letters for further stages.
- Written Examination: A qualifying written test (objective and/or subjective) is mandatory. Minimum passing marks are 50% for UR, EWS, and OBC categories, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who clear the written exam will have to undergo PET. Only those who qualify it will proceed to the next stage.
- Practical/Trade Test: Shortlisted candidates from the PET must clear a practical or trade test relevant to the applied post.
- Medical Examination: A medical fitness test will be conducted by GREF/Army medical officers. Your selection depends on passing the assessment.
- Document Verification: Candidates will be required to produce original documents during the Trade Test. They will be disqualified if they do not have the required documents.
- Final Merit List: The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the written exam, trade test, and medical examination.
