AP DSC Recruitment 2024: The District Selection Committee (DSC) of the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has officially released the notification for the recruitment of 16,347 teaching posts, including SGT, TGT, PGT, and other positions. - 6,371 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)
- 7,725 School Assistants (SA)
- 1,781 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

AP DSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for DSC Recruitment 2024 below:
- Applicants must have at least a 12th pass from a recognized board and are eligible to apply for these vacancies.
- Applicants who have a diploma in elementary education are required to take on primary teaching posts.
- A BED degree is required for the class 1 to class 10 teachers.
- A Master’s degree in BED is needed for the PGT posts for class 11 and class 12th.
- Applicants must have a PG degree and a BED degree and relevant years of teaching experience are required for the Principal Post.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 44 Years
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 01st January 1980, and not later than 01st January 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualifications:
- A Graduate from a recognized university in any discipline from a University recognized/ approved by the Government / Govt. Bodies viz., AICTE, UGC, etc.
- Passing only a diploma course will not be considered as qualifying the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates are expected to have proficiency in computers/IT-related aspects.
