- Only girls living in Rajasthan can take advantage of this scheme.
- If a girl is born on or after 1 June 2016, she can take advantage of this scheme.
- The girl should be born in a government hospital or a private hospital that follows the rules of the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).

Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana gives money to girl’s parents in installments for their life:
- When a girl is born, ₹2500 is given
- After 1 year, when the vaccination is complete, ₹2500 is given again
- When the girl reaches class 1st, she gets ₹4000
- When the girl enters class 6th, she gets ₹5000
- When the girl is in class 10th, she gets ₹11000
- When the girl passes class 12th, she gets ₹25000
